As a seasoned minister of the Word of God, it may be your time to prayerfully consider a Master's or Doctoral of divinity pursuit with College of The Open Bible.
Engaging your pursuit for your divinity degree, you’ll have the opportunity to embrace the challenge to grow in the mind of Christ and grasp key theological concepts and help take your ministry to an emboldened effectiveness in Bible exposition.
Are you called and passionate about leading others to a mature relationship with Christ through a study of God’s Word? The Master of Divinity is the perfect choice.
Our M.Div. in Biblical Studies will help you apply biblical theology to various ministry settings. Bringing a strong focus that examines fundamental doctrines in the context of the entire biblical narrative.
Thus, M.Div. is for those called to teach in the capacity of leadership. In this program, you will be encouraged to apply scripture to pastoral shepherding, counseling, devotional practice, music ministry, youth ministry and evangelism emphasizing discipleship. Very importantly, you will discern how the Holy Spirit will help you synthesize your knowledge and apply it in real ministry opportunities.
Are you convinced by the Lord Jesus Christ to go deeper in your study of the Bible under the insistence of the Holy Spirit? Then the Doctor of Divinity is an excellent choice and path to pursue.
As you engage your studies, a strong emphasis that the Bible and sound knowledge and understanding of it is at the heart of biblical theology and ministry and your identity in Christ Jesus. You will be influenced by the Holy Spirit to embrace a pure perspective that you and those you teach are not to just pursue being used for God, BUT TO BE USED TO GOD. In order to synthesize, assess, and apply your learning for gospel ministry, the gospel of Jesus Christ must be properly understood.
In the Doctor of Divinity program, ministers of all stripes and backgrounds will be encouraged to absorb sensitivity to the guiding influence of the Holy Spirit to teach the Bible as it is meant to be understood and applied.
