How To Be Ordained

Becoming ordained or licensed biblically begins with the candidate first acknowledging God's call to the ministry and then begins the biblical and legal process of examination that leads to ordination or a ministry license that affords the candidate exciting opportunities for ministry. Such as officiating weddings, baptisms, starting a church or other ministries, becoming a pastor or chaplaincy and much more (1 Tim 3:6; 5:22).

The examination should conclude that the candidate is indeed called by God and has demonstrated that they are able to provide leadership for the church. It must also be determined that they are scripturally sound and spiritually grounded. This determination must be provided by the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:2).

Once the examination is complete with the assurance that the candidate meets the biblical mandate for ordination or licensing, the candidate then assumes full responsibility of their God ordained capacity for ministry and is then considered an ordained or licensed minister of The Gospel of Jesus Christ both biblically and legally.
